Why does my barrel have rifling removed at the chunk port?
This is normal and by design. Every chunk ported barrel is put in a lathe and the internal diameter of the barrel is enlarged, which looks like a "step" into the rifling. This is intentional so that as the projectile travels down the barrel, it does not have a portion of the bullet shaved off and thrown upward by the large hole at the end of the barrel. If the barrel did not have this post-processing, the bullet would travel toward the chunk port and a section of the bullet would be shaved off at the front of the port, which would make the projectile unbalanced and inherently less accurate... We don't want that.
How do I mount an optic?
Here's a quick video to explain. If you catch us while out on the range, we will mount it for you on the spot. All necessary equipment for optic mounting (including a torque wrench) is on the range with me (Steve) whenever we're on the range.

We offer our "Bulletproof Warranty" with every product, for the lifetime of the product. We give you a metal warranty card that you're not going to ruin by spilling your coffee on it. We are so confident in our quality, such as the tolerances of our optic cuts and effectiveness of our ports, that we will repair or modify anything until the customer is satisfied.
- Did you find a blemish in our cerakote that we missed? Send it back, we'll respray it.
- Did your package get damaged in shipping? Send it back, I guarantee we can fix it.
- You made me a firing pin for my Remington Rolling Block and now the action is too rusty to fire. can you fix it? Even though that is not our fault and could be prevented with some gentle oiling and maintenance, we would love to keep your antique firearms functioning and not fall victim to age.
When your "buddy" matches our quality, we'll match the price.
It's my duty weapon, can you make mine priority?
First, I can typically accommodate your schedule if you're polite about it.
As former LEO's, we think you should have qualified with a backup/off duty weapon as well. If you're involved in an OIS, now what is your plan when your firearm has to get turned in? I know of at least one instance where someone I know was involved in an OIS and had to borrow a friend's firearm and qual during off duty time with it.
I wish I could post entire threads here about people that are upset we do not offer a 24-hour service for LE. You do not get preferential treatment because of your occupation. Some people get irate and demand services at their convenience, or in this case, demand an MOS cut when that is not one of our services. "You need to do it anyway, I'm a cop" is not an acceptable answer when I tell you that we do not offer MOS cuts.
On the other end of the spectrum, the local KPD officers I have done services for are all very polite. I will gladly work with them to the best of my abilities.
